SE3K Survivors Experience 3000

Congo Bongo

Sega · 1983

Sega's answer to Donkey Kong, and drawn in the same slanted perspective as Zaxxon. A safari hunter climbs a jungle mountain after the ape that set his tent alight, dodging coconuts on the way up, then crossing a river on the backs of hippos and a field patrolled by snakes and scorpions. Four screens, each with its own hazard, and a monkey who is never quite caught.
