SE3K Survivors Experience 3000

Star Force

Tehkan, Sega · 1986

Tehkan's 1984 vertical shooter, a fixture of Japanese arcades and one of the games that established the genre's grammar of hidden bonuses. The ship flies over the ruins of a lost civilisation shooting ground and air targets with one weapon; the score, not the ending, is the point, and the fifty-point bonus panels are hidden in scenery that looks like decoration.
