SE3K Survivors Experience 3000

Bomb Jack

Sega · 1985

Tehkan's 1984 arcade game, converted to Sega's machine. Jack floats over famous skylines — Egypt, the Acropolis, a castle — gathering the bombs strung across the girders while enemies wander the platforms. Lighting the fuses in the right order multiplies the score, and the whole game rests on the jump: Jack falls slowly and the button controls how long he hangs, so the platforms are less a floor than a suggestion.
