SE3K Survivors Experience 3000

Wonder Boy

Escape, Sega · 1986

Escape's 1986 arcade game — the studio later renamed Westone — and the start of a long series. Tom-Tom runs right through the jungle throwing stone axes, and his vitality drains without pause: the fruit scattered along the way is not a bonus but the clock, and stopping to be careful is itself fatal.
