SE3K Survivors Experience 3000

Zoom 909

Sega · 1985

Sega's 1982 cabinet, sold in America as Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom, in the same three-quarter perspective as Zaxxon. The ship runs down a receding corridor of pylons, then out into space against fighters, with the horizon tilting under it. One of the earliest games to sell speed by scaling sprites rather than scrolling a background.
